During the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters: The Legend of Duelist QUARTER CENTURY special event in Japan, KONAMI revealed the Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection. This upcoming package will encompass some of the initial video games from the franchise and will be accessible worldwide on Steam and Nintendo Switch. As of writing, the company has not disclosed a specific release date.

Yu-Gi-Oh! originated as a multimedia franchise, emerging from Kazuki Takahashi’s manga series in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1996. Although the manga commenced in 1996, it wasn’t until 1999 that Konami finalized an agreement for a trading card game, swiftly reshaping the franchise to center around this new gaming concept.

The company emphasizes that the Early Days Collection will feature titles that have never been released in the Western markets. During the presentation, Konami unveiled two titles: Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 4: Battle of Great Duelists for the Game Boy Color and Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 6: Expert 2 for the Game Boy Advance.
